Blazy Susan looking to hire CNC Production / Carpentry Assistant

Blazy Susan is seeking to hire a CNC production / carpentry assistant to join our rapidly growing team. This position will be full time 9-5 M-F, and will start at $15/hr. Hours may vary slightly, especially during the first few months as you are trained and as the role is established.

This position is a manual / general labor position focused on carpentry and millwork. You will be expected to be on your feet and working with your hands in the woodshop consistently throughout the workday. Job duties will include helping to craft and finish our wooden rolling trays using a variety of tools, assisting with custom build projects, packaging, boxing, warehouse and equipment maintenance, freight shipping and receiving, and more.

Blazy Susan is a provider of premium smoking accessories and rolling papers. They are known for their signature Blazy Susan Spinning Rolling Tray, as well as their famous Pink Papers. The organization is growing rapidly in the booming cannabis industry. Note: MED Badge is NOT required for this position, as Blazy Susan is considered an ancillary business.

This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a rapidly growing company, and to learn many new skills. You will likely learn how to operate new tools and technology such as a CNC router, laser engraver, and many types of printers, as well as how warehouse and businesses operations work here.

-Handiness: Applicants who are handy, know how to work with their hands, and who are problem solvers will excel in this position (know how to safely handle power tools)
-CNC Knowledge: CNC experience is not required, but preferred. Interest in CNC / millwork is a big bonus.

Job Requirements:
-Must legally be allowed to work within the US
-Must live in Denver or the surrounding areas
-Must be able to commute to our office and work in-person from 9:00 to 5:00 M-F
-Spanish speaking skills are not required, but are a bonus
