General: Responsible for coordination and/or development of Emergency Services education programs for the community, Emergency Services agencies and healthcare professionals; supervises Emergency Services instructional staff and related instructors.

Education or Formal Training: (Certifications) Bachelors Degree related to adult education; graduation from an accredited paramedic training program or nursing program; completion of accredited training program in the subjects taught; BLS, ACLS and PALS Course Director Certification; Colorado Paramedic Certification or Colorado RN License.

Knowledge and Experience: 5 year of clinical experience in emergency medicine, pre-hospital care experience preferred; 2 years instructional experience with adult audiences in EMS topics; Emergency Medical Services; must be able to demonstrate competency of knowledge and/or skills being taught; must able to demonstrate competency in adult instruction.
