School serves as the intellectual crossroads of the University, a place where

School to faculty, staff, students, postdocs, and the broader community include
but are not limited to:
Represent the interests of graduate students across
Curriculum development within graduate programs;
New degree and certificate development for graduate
Graduate student recruitment and admissions;
Graduate education advising and career
Graduate student funding and assistantships;
College teacher training;
Professional development for postdoctoral fellows and
Budget and personnel oversight for the Boulder campus
institutes, centers, and programs that report to the Graduate School.
What your key responsibilities will be:
Assistant to Dean, including calendar management,
making travel arrangements, prioritizing phone calls, messages, mail and the
Support of the Dean of the Graduate School staff
and functions, including meeting coordination, administrative support, meeting
supervising student assistant(s).
pport including processing purchase orders and requisitions
in CU Marketplace, placing office supply orders, journal entries, cash transfers
and payroll expense transfers.
Payroll Liaison including biweekly/monthly time collection
and entry and performance management administration.
NSF Fellowship Administration, such as assisting
with fellowship notifications, NSF system approvals, setting appointment in
Campus Liaison Roles including OIT/Telephone
Liaison, parking liaison, etc.

What we require:
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
- Equivalent related
At least 2 years of professional administrative
Demonstrated experience in a work setting that
demands high quality, flexibility, and excellent customer service
What you will need:
Ability to learn and respond quickly to
situations that arise on a day-to-day basis
Ability to strategically problem solve
Ability to handle highly confidential and
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to apply strong teamwork skills to daily
management of tasks

coordinate a number of projects simultaneously
Ability to prioritize tasks to ensure completion
in a timely manner to meet deadlines and expectations
What we’d like you to have:
Five or more years of professional work
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g.,
Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience utilizing Microsoft Outlook for calendar
management and scheduling
Prior work experience in Higher Education
