I also drive myself and have several years of experience. I like meeting new people and working any time I need the extra cash. If you've heard of these apps and have ever been interested to try it out, I would be happy to help you get on the road !
I am assisting many new drivers to sign up for these app taxi companies. It's easy and actually quite a fun job. You will make $15/hour minimum guaranteed and up to $40! This depends mainly how and where and when you choose to drive. There are also start up bonuses right now: $250 for Lyft, $100 for Uber.
I can assist you over the phone or in person if needed to get you totally signed up and some tips and tricks how to drive as well. All you have to do is fill out a primary application and our accounts are linked and you are locked in for the start up bonus. Here are the requirements, see where you fit in:
My number 1 choice for new drivers is Lyft. It has built in tipping and is a great App. However you must have a 2004 vehicle or newer, with 4 doors, 5 seat belts. If you qualify, start that application here:
Uber, accepts older vehicles, it is more widely used, however tipping is not built in. Uber accepts 2001 vehicles or newer, with 4 doors, 5 seat belts. There is also a local office which makes it easier to get on the road. If you have an older vehicle, you can start that application here:
Most of the sign up process is quite easy but please email or call me if you need assistance I am available. You can technically do everything online and get on the road within a few days.
If you have a newer car, 2004 or newer, you can actually sign up for BOTH companies and get TWO bonuses - you also get more rides by catching more riders. I'd love to help you learn how to do that.
Further info for Lyft:
After completing the initial application, just download the "Lyft" app on your smart phone, tap the drive button and you will be put in touch with your driving mentor who will come to take you on a test drive and inspect your vehicle. After that you just need to upload some basic documents: License, registration, Car inspection form, etc.
Further info for Uber:
After completing the initial application, just download the "Uber driver" app on your smart phone. You only need to upload the required documents. There is no "test drive" as with Lyft. However, you will need to get a DOT card, it costs about $50. They can be had at the Uber office in Denver. If needed, they can take the $50 from your first paychecks.
Again you can email me and I will send you the link and some extra information. You can also call me directly, text or email any questions as you begin the process.
You must have the following qualifications to apply:
You must have a US driver's license for at least one year and a current CO license/registration
(okay if your CO license is new - just have the previous license on hand if <1 year)
Must be 21 years or older
Must own or have access to a Vehicle year 2004 or newer (4-door, 5 seat belt minimum)
Must have a smart phone, or be willing to buy/rent one (we have resources for renting phones)
Thanks, look forward to hearing from you!
