Great company located in the City of Industry has an Immediate Opening for a HR Assistant.

Primary Functions:
(Type Below)• Provides administrative support to the HR department. • Interfaces with

the public by accepting applications, scheduling interviews, and giving instructions to candidates regarding pre-employment drug testing. • Answers routine inquiries from associates regarding benefits, 401(k) plan, leaves of absence, and general company policies. • Assists associates with changes for direct deposit, tax withholding allowances, address, phone number, etc. through the Associate Resource Center Kiosk. • Responsible for setting up and maintaining files for applications, HR records, and medical records. • Maintains bulletin boards with current legal notices, company information, associate relations events, and other news related to associates. • Conducts pre-employment background checks. • Conducts new hire orientations, including scheduling and completing paperwork. • Orders new or replacement ID badges for associates. • Processes stickers for associate discount cards when they are updated. • Plans and executes associate relations events. • Additional functions may include: recruitment, staffing, and some employee relations. • Provides back-up for system administration, Virtual Edge, LeaveLink, and payroll interface. • Generates standard and custom reports as needed.
