Infrastructure Project Manager - Facilities Support: CMMS

SUMMARY


This key position supports Information Technology innovation and management activities across our clients’ Facilities businesses. The primary

system is webTMA, a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) in Education sector (Higher Education and K12). Up to 20% of other efforts may be required to support Facilities Center of Excellence and other Facilities business units.

A successful candidate will represent IT to bridge business needs and technology capabilities, serves as primary point of contact for day-to-day activities, leads discussions, articulates business challenges, and mobilizes IT community to deliver solutions. This person will manage end-to-end delivery, create or improve processes, drive measureable outcomes, and build long term business-IT partnership.


In addition to strong IT understanding, this position requires a combination of leadership, analytical and communication skills. Ability to analyze data guided by strategic thinking is critical.

RESPONSIBILITIES


Understand CMMS (webTMA) system functionality, technology, business applications, and associated processes


Provide technical resolutions to field issues raised to IT, or further escalate them to vendor


Directly provide or coordinate support for field activities, including monthly report generation and mobile device management


Proactively perform Data Analytics to influence strategic decision making


Lead with confidence and influence through action


Communicate effectively with executive leadership


Identify business needs for system changes


Support business case formulation to initiate new projects


Manage IT development according to System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)


Liaise with the business community to document business and functional requirements


Lead business-technology translation to assist technical design


Lead overall testing to ensure work quality and production preparation


Interface with vendor regarding solution delivery and related cost estimates, SOW’s and invoices


Ensure financial tracking is correct


Support business experts in training


Participate in and influence governance discussions


Recognize relationship dynamics and build long term partnerships


Delegate appropriate tasks to other resources and manage overall delivery


Develop professional documents such as finding summaries, specifications, workflow processes, and management presentations


Maintain strong understanding of the use of IT systems in business processes


Able to manage work delivery independently with minimal supervision


Maintain diligent communication with various stakeholders and manage expectations


Possesses strong business judgment to prioritize and make decisions


Adhere to company standards and best practices
