30/70 Kitchen Manager
30/70 sports bar and grill is casual dining establishment looking for a Kitchen Manager to take over the operations of our kitchen staff. The successful candidate will have culinary and management experience necessary to effectively run and elevate our kitchen into the next wave of our business.. We're looking for a creative, motivating professional that can help contribute to prep work and delivery of quality food while managing and improving operations, and can delegate appropriately. You will report to the Restaurant Manager and have the complete oversight of all kitchen team members. The job requires approximately 50 hours per week with nights and weekends.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Hire and train kitchen staff in specific stations, and cross-train as necessary.
Maintain inventory levels and conduct full weekly inventory.
Order supplies, food and ingredients based on rapidly shifting demand.
Create schedules for kitchen staff to ensure there are always enough workers to meet the demand for the week. To include special functions and parties.
Hold high standards of cleaning in the kitchen to meet and exceed Tri county health departments codes.
Schedule and oversee necessary maintenance and repairs on kitchen appliances.
Assist the Restaurant Manager with menu changes and adjustments based on seasonal availability.
Understand and maintain food cost for each menu item to ensure the bottom line is met.
Respond personally to guest questions and complaints.
