A chief quality we are looking for in our Practice Manager is one with the ability to be a team player, write policies, communicate and effectively influence our staff to reach personal and company goals.

5 years experience as a Practice Manager with solid references
EMR, Word, Excel, Quick books, Google Docs
Track record of loyalty and trustworthiness
Thorough understanding of patient scheduling through check out
Solid understanding of health insurances, Medicaid/Medicare verification
Strong verbal and written communication
Desire to work with marginalized community
Reliable transportation, phone and internet service at home

Duties Include:
Overseeing daily activities all office functions and staff
Supervising all office staff to attain performance goals and objectives
Maintains adequate staffing
Fills in for the front desk if staffing needs are not met
Conducts training sessions, orientations and staff meetings
Initiates inter-office communications and policy changes
Acts as a liaison between providers and front and back office staff
Produces month-end reports to the physician
Oversees front and back office leads in weekly huddle meetings
Writes policies and procedures to standardize office systems
Mail and office correspondence
Annual benefit enrollment
Provider credentialing
Insurance and hospital contracts
Medicaid and Medicare incentive benchmarks, including MU
On-call Provider schedule
Weekly bank deposits
Bills payable and payroll
HR, including hiring, termination, evaluations, discipline, vacation schedules and staffing
Quality oversight of Security Assessment, OSHA, HIPAA, CLIA, medical chart audits
Responsible for building and medical machine maintenance and vendor list
Troubleshoots basic computer/printer issues, works with IT team
Resolves patient complaints
Troubleshoots odd-ball type situations on a daily basis
Ensures positive, supportive team environment

Additional Considerations:
Billing and Coding knowledge is a plus
Working knowledge of CPT, ICD-9/ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
