Network Engineer - $100k-120k base salary
We are a very well-known federal research and technologies company that has strong ties with the space industry. We have a former astronaut working with us in-house, and we are contracted by NASA. We are currently seeking a Network Engineer to support our security operations.

What You Will Be Doing
•Maintain, administrate, and secure network and security operations infrastructure
•Install network and security infrastructure
•Monitor health of network infrastructure, security appliances, routers, switches, firewalls, packet brokers, taps, IDS/IPS, etc.
•Contribute to the development of statements of work and system designs
•Create and maintain process, procedure, technical design, and system documentation
What You Need for this Position
- Experience supporting Juniper and Cisco network infrastructure
- Experience supporting security infrastructure - IPS/IDS, taps, packet capture
- Experience supporting virtualization infrastructure
- Experience enhancing and extending monitoring and alerting capabilities - Nagios, Cacti
- Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery strategies and architecture
