Circular Technologies is a Boulder, Colorado based manufacturer of machining and urethane products. The Company has been in business since 1973, and we pride ourselves on offering quality products with excellent service. We are a small business, employing approximately 30 people. We are in need of a office manager who understands accounting practices, has human resource experience, and is well organized.

Skills Required
The two main facets of the job are accounting and human resources. Together, the person accomplishes a key function within the organization, both financially and structurally as an employee liaison. In order to successfully execute the job duties, the candidate must possess excellent people skills, and be highly detail-oriented. Strong listening and interpersonal communication skills is essential in this job. The ideal candidate will thrive in being self-structured in a fluid environment. As a small business, there is not a lot of structured processes within the Company, so the person must be able to utilize, and sometimes, create processes without a lot of direction. Good work ethic, integrity, and discretion are key to this role. Confidentiality is paramount, as this individual will be handling sensitive employee information. The individual will be processing payroll every two weeks. As such, the person is responsible for ensuring accuracy in employee time and attendance. This role does not have direct reports, but must have an understanding of hiring and termination practices. A Bachelor's in Accounting, and experience with employment laws is preferred. The hired candidate must successfully complete a background check.

Duties
This position requires successfully completing the following accounting responsibilities: Payroll processing and check-cutting; employee time and attendance verification; process Accounts Payable receipts and pay invoices; process Accounts Receivable payments and credits from customers; mailing invoices; contact customers as needed to collect invoice payments; reconcile general ledger and bank statements each month; file quarterly payroll taxes; file sales and use tax with county and state agencies. Human resource functions include: hiring and termination paperwork for the Company and applicable government agencies; fielding general employee questions, including benefits and workplace grievance; and maintaining employee records.
