This is a Part-TimeHourly (position with an average of 20 hours a week). This may develop into Full-Time position.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
development and implementation / compliance with Health and Safety procedures, plans,
incentive programs and regulatory requirements,
incident analysis and reporting, and
Viable candidates must possess a working knowledge and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience implementing and enforcing the following rules, regulations and oil and gas industry standards:
Wyoming OSHA Oil and Gas Requirements,
Federal OSHA Oil and Gas Requirements,
ANZI Standards for E&P Operations,
American Petroleum Institute (API) Recommended Practices (RP) for E&P Operations,
Bureau Land Management (BLM) Onshore Orders for E&P Operations,
Safety and Environmental Management Systems (SEMS).
Additionally, the candidate must poses technical skills in the area of risk mitigation, hazardous operability and study, hazard analysis and hazard identification.
The candidate will be responsible for implementing onshore SEMS programs for oil and gas operators that include the above mentioned rules, regulations and oil and gas industry standards. The candidate must understand and have the necessary skills to implement 13 SEMS elements that detail oil and gas E&P recommended practices. The candidate will develop and implement safety policy documents that clearly define the goal of SEMS and the above mentioned rules, regulations and oil and gas industry standards. The candidate will develop health and safety policies and procedures that detail how those requirements and policies will be implemented.
The safety position will be responsible for:
Establishing and maintaining Policy and Procedure documents for each of the 13 SEMS elements (additional policies/procedures may be needed as the program is audited) for Oil and Gas clients,
Establishing and maintaining Policy and Procedure documents for;
Wyoming OSHA Oil and Gas Requirements
Federal OSHA Oil and Gas Requirements
ANZI Standards for Oil and Gas E&P Operations
API RPs for E&P Operations
BLM Onshore Orders for E&P Operations
Completing quarterly and annual reports that detail safety statistics for Oil and Gas clients,
Conducting or delegating contractor performance evaluations (CPEs),
Conducting or delegating on-site contractor assessments,
Leading programmatic meetings to set up Oil and Gas client safety systems,
Collecting and managing documentation of Job Safety Analysis (JSAs),
Maintain Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) / Safety Data Sheets (SDS),
Tracking Management of Change (MOC) documentation,
Help establish maintenance records and schedules based off of manufacture recommendations for Oil and Gas E&P equipment,
Setting up field safety expectations for prime employees, contractors, and on-site safety personnel as needed,
Manage and revise Incident Response procedures,
Manage a team that catalogues contractor vetting documents,
Prime contractor training and routine safety meetings,
Managing on-site safety staff during high risk activities such as E&P and workover rig operations,
Conducting emergency drills, including evacuations, flight for life activation and landing procedures,
Education Requirements: BA or BS in Safety Management
Experience Requirements: 5 years or more experience in the Oil and Gas Exploration and Production (E&P) operations health and safety programs. The candidate must have experience in safety requirements that govern oil rig, work over rig, hydraulic fracturing, and flowback operations. Management, implementation, tracking and reporting for the referenced onshore Oil and Gas E&P operations health and safety requirements.
Certifications: SafeLand, First Aid, Certified Environmental Safety & Health Trainer (CET) (Required); Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Emergency Responder Trained (Preferred).
