A well respected, family owned earth moving, underground utility, and concrete contractor, ESCO Construction Co, is seeking a Project Engineer. The company has been in business for over 70 years and performs $40-60M/year.

Must have well rounded abilities and be experienced in the following:

Managing budgets; including internal labor and equipment costs, subcontractors, and materials.
A clear understanding of heavy construction means and methods.
Basic computer skills with the use of Microsoft Office. Familiarity with HCSS HeavyBid, Agtek earthwork takeoff software, and Microsoft Project are a plus.
Perform quantity takeoffs.
Solicit and analyze subcontractor and material quotations.
Prepare and monitor project schedules.
Issue and administer subcontracts.
Monthly progress billing.
Identifying and addressing field changes.
Work with A/R and A/P on accounts.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail oriented.
This position will require time in both the office and the field.
