The Department of Psychology at Wichita State University is seeking a full-time, non tenure-track Director of the Psychology Clinic for a twelve-month, renewable appointment. Interested individuals should be graduates of an APA-accredited clinical psychology program and fully licensed in Kansas as a psychologist to supervise doctoral students' clinical work, including psychotherapy for adults, adolescents, and children, and comprehensive psychological evaluations. The Director will also teach the practicum course each semester. Opportunities for seeing private patients are also available. Experience with managing a treatment clinic, HIPAA, and electronic medical records are strongly preferred. Candidates should be committed to the clinical-community orientation, which integrates community psychology into clinical research, practice, and teaching from a scientist-practitioner framework. The Department has strong connections with the city's educational social service and mental health organization, and especially with the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita, Prairie View, and the Sedgwick County Department of Health and Mental Health. The department has a collegial faculty and a strong track of training highly competent clinical psychologists.
