Responsible for the development and execution of a continuous improvement culture to positively impact quality, efficiency and performance through use of Quality initiatives, Engineering best practices, and Lean Manufacturingprinciples.
Train, develop and coach staff in Lean Manufacturing principles and activities, facilitating the application of lean tools and concepts, as defined in our corporate/group programs.
Organize and support Kaizen events.
Develop and deliver training material to support continuous improvement programs.
Manage quality of all incoming components and materials. Analyze supplier defects; interact with vendor or external parties in person and over the telephone regarding quality issues.
