This person will be responsible for providing supervision and management of daily operations of the Wellness Department. Duties include doing wellness assessments, preparing resident care plans, managing the Medication Administration program, overall supervision of staff, and working with families of residents in the community.
This position requires a minimum of LPN certification, prior experience working with a senior population, a clear understanding of Assisted Living and Medication Administration protocols, the ability to supervise care-giving staff providing direct care in an AL environment and diplomacy skills to work with families.
Prefer prior experience in an Assisted Living or Skilled care role, must exhibit both good writing, computer and oral skills, have the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people involved in operations of the programs as well of the families of the residents we serve.Requires an active LPN or RN license, clean background/ license check and drug screen check.
Involves working a variety of hours and some weekends.
