Growing Construction General Contractor in the South Metro Denver Area is seeking to hire an experienced Staff Assistant.

• Act as office resource to General Contractor, employees and 1099 subcontractors

in the field as needed
• Assist General Contractor in follow-up with vendors regarding status of project deliverables
• Track and prepare vendor payables for manager approval and payment
• Assist in assembling client project-specific billing documentation on a monthly basis
• Coding and Entering Vendor Payables by project/activity
• Coding and reconciliation, entry and payment of statements by project/activity
• Follow up with vendors, manager, and employees to obtain missing project receipts
• Run and prepare reports of client project activity for manager review
• Track and ensure applicable city and county licenses and insurance certificates are up-to-date
• Track and ensure subcontractor licenses and insurance certificates are up-to-date
• Track and ensure company vehicle licenses and insurance are up-to-date
• Assist payroll, tax accounting and insurance services in obtaining necessary documents from employees and 1099 subcontractors
• Review of monthly payable statements and discrepancies
• Prepare, send and follow-up on client project invoices and documentation on a monthly basis
• Reconciliation and filing of payroll and company taxes

• Able to manage a high volume of documents
• Strong time management skills
• Able work independently and cross-train in a team environment
• Strong business ethics & entrepreneurial attitude
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and online tools
• Experience with Quickbooks
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in construction office a plus
• Degree in Accounting or Finance a plus
• Local Applicants (South Metro Denver) strongly preferred

Compensation based on experience, $15-20/hour. Hours for this position are part-time with a minimum of 20 hours/week, Monday-Friday, during the hours of 7:00 A.M.- 5:00 P.M. Non-smoking environment.
