As a Trailer Mechanic, your typical day would include: • Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing all US Transport equipment as indicated on repair orders. • Performing safety and legally required inspections. • Maintaining parts and yard organization (with direction from Shop Management) to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
Job Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent • Minimum of 1 year of experience working specifically on trailers • Minimum of 1 year of experience working on brakes • Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Background Check

As a Trailer Mechanic, you'll need one year of trailer repair experience to complete FHWA inspections consistent with the Department of Transportation requirements.
