
Just as poplar Mountain was closing Monday from its bonus Memorial Day Weekend of sport and riding, poplar sport Co. announced it would open the mountain for two more years this coming weekend, June 1-2.
More inside information will come out this week as conditions change, but Skico interpreter Jeff Hanle aforementioned Monday afternoon that the top of poplar Mountain, about 130 estate, would be open this weekend.
“Lifts will open at 9 a.m. and close as conditions dictate,” Hanle aforementioned.
There were large crowds Saturday to start the three years of bonus sport, the first time since 2017 the mountain opened for Memorial Day Weekend.
