
It was thing but an average smash-and-grab when a thief targeted Mile High Comics in Denver early Sunday. The criminal blind drunk showcases and scarf 14 specific comic books, cut himself on bustn glass, and then tried to clean it up exploitation toilet bowl cleaner.
The thief bust in and blind drunk three panes of glass of the store’s showcase, where the rarest and most high-ticket comic books are stored. Security footage shows the thief picking specific comics and putt them in a plastic bin.
“(The thief) scarf 14 different books totaling a little over $42,000,” William Moulton of Mile High Comics told Denver7.
Of those that were scarfn, that includes the first Avengers comic book, the first Iron Man book, and a rare signed Spider-Man comic book.
